Leisa’s Bio

Leisa Watkins is a speaker and thought partner in conversations surrounding chronic illness, resilience, burnout, and life transitions. She brings a deeply grounded perspective shaped by both lived experience and caregiving responsibilities within her family, as well as significant personal experiences with trauma, reproductive loss, and complex grief.

Living with multiple chronic illnesses herself while also supporting family members through ongoing medical conditions, Leisa offers a rare, dual-lens understanding of what it means to navigate health challenges both personally and relationally. Her work explores the emotional and practical realities of living with uncertainty—identity shifts, invisible illness, and the ongoing process of rebuilding life when the familiar no longer applies.

Rather than focusing on motivation or quick solutions, Leisa’s work is centered on clarity, language, and compassionate truth-telling. She helps audiences articulate what they are experiencing, validate what is often unseen, and reconnect with a more sustainable and self-trusting way of living.
