Plantar Fasciitis is inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot. And, if you have had plantar fasciitis you want to get pain relief immediately.

The planter fascia connects your heel bone to your toes (plantar fascia). Plantar Fasciitis can be quite painful, particularly in the morning. I remember waking up and having to give myself quite the pep talk to get out of bed because the moment my feet hit the floor I knew it was going to be painful. And for me, it didn’t get much better as the day progressed like they said it usually does.

My doctor recommended stretches. They didn’t seem to help much. I then tried foot massages which were extra painful. It helped the existing pain but it did nothing to help prevent the pain from returning.

I stumbled upon my solution when I was shopping at an outlet store one day. I saw a pair of Croc knock-offs for just $10.00. I recalled an aunt of mine who wore crocks pretty much everywhere. She wore them because she had plantar fasciitis. I thought, “Perhaps these will help me!” It was certainly worth a try.

I came home, cut off the tags, and slipped my feet in. I swear my feet sighed a sigh of relief right then and there. I tried out the shoes for.a few days and found I had zero pain. ZERO!

And the pain has never returned, except when I wear different shoes.

There was the one time I thought I would wear a good pair of running shoes to Disney World, thinking my feet would be happier. I had tears rolling down my face by noon. So the first thing I did when I got back to the hotel was to look for a store to buy me a pair of Crocs. Lucky me, there was one just down the street from our hotel and on the way to Disney World. I stopped in there and purchased 3 pairs. I had zero foot pain the rest of the trip.

So now, you’ll find me wearing Crocs pretty much everywhere. I even accidentally wore them to my grandmother’s funeral. I didn’t mean to. I found I had packed two left dress shoes and I didn’t discover the mistake until just before the funeral started.

Well, so there you have it. If you ever see me speaking on stage, chances are I will be wearing Crocs and my feet will be happy.
