On Orange Brunch Restaurant in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
I stopped by On Orange during for lunch one day on a trip to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Centrally located in downtown Lancaster. They only serve an all-day breakfast. It noticed it was listed as a favorite restaurant on several review lists so when I ended up near there at lunch time I knew I had to stop.
As soon as I saw the menu I immediately knew what I was going to get. I had seen Chilaquiles mentioned several times on the Food Network several times and had wanted to try them. I am so glad I did. The Chilaquiles were so, so good. That is what they are known for. They were even delicious without the queso fresco. It could become one of my new addictions – especially for breakfast. I wonder if I will find anything as good here in Salt Lake. I will now be on a quest to discover the answer to that question.
They even served it with the best piece of gluten-free toast and it was the best gluten-free toast I have ever had. I have not found anything close to that piece of toast here in Salt Lake. It tasted like the regular wheat toast I was used to, before my gluten-free diet change.
The service was great as well. My only complaint about the meal is my egg was supposed to be sunny-side up.
Chilaquiles from On Orange
On Orange has a lot of charm. I LOVE the legs on those bar stools. I mean, look at them. So, so cool.
The front sitting room is fairly small. There was quite a line earlier in the day. I believe they have another seating area and a patio out back. Though I am not 100% sure about that.
At the end of the meal they brought me a complimentary, gluten free vegan brownie bite. It was a perfect way to end the meal.
